The Striders Christmas Dinner - Hamilton Tennis Club, Melton
On Friday 5th Dec, Stilton Striders enjoyed a fine Christmas Dinner at the Hamilton Tennis Club. Club awards were given as follows: Most Improved Runner in 2003 was Peter Majer, Best Veteran wasTim Hicks, Clubman of the Year again was Chris Genes, with Chris Southam the club's Best Runner in 2003. Theresa Coltman became the first winner of the new award for Best Lady.
The club awarded its allocated two 2004 London Marathon entries to Chris Genes and Zoe Philips. And of course, Neil Jaggard produced one of his finest alternative awards, which after tough competition went to Mo Robinson, on his retirement from running or drinking, or both (or was it neither).
